Barbara Ann Amick, 82 of Commiskey, Indiana passed away Wednesday, October 28, 2020 at the Lutheran Community Home in Seymour. She was born April 1, 1938 in Knot County, Kentucky to James and Hazel Deaton Watkins.

Barb came to Indiana in 1959 and worked for Excello Shirts for over 30 years. She was a member of United Christian Church in Commiskey. She loved to read, watch Heartland, work puzzles but most of all she loved being with her family.

She is preceded in death by her husband, William Amick, brother, Harlan Watkins and sister, Louise Southers.

Surviving to cherish her memory are her children, Clara (Greg) Carter, Wilson (Becky) Baker, Joy (Richard) Fox, Betty (Gary) Coomer and William L. Amick and her brother, Charlie (Betty) Watkins. She is also survived by many grandchildren, several great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

Friends may visit with Barb’s family from 11:00 am until service time at 1 pm Monday, November 2, 2020 at the Burkholder Chapel of Thorne-George Family Funeral Homes, 419 N. Chestnut Street, Seymour, Indiana. Pastor Andy Schroeder will officiate. Interment will follow at Hopewell Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to Seymour Christian Church at Burkholder Chapel.
