Mary Cruger is listed as buried in section 1 Lot 3 grave 2 on page 66 of Hamilton County, Ohio Burial Records: Volume Eight Sycamore Township Cemeteries, published by Heritage Books, Bowie, Maryland for the Hamilton County Chapter of the Ohio Genealogical Society, Cincinnati, Ohio, edited by Mary H. Remler, © 1994. This person is the same as the Mary Crugar shown in cemetery records as buried in section 1 lot 111 grave 2. The transcribers interpreted lot III as lot 3, assuming the III was a roman numeral 3, instead of 111, where, per old typist convention, a capital I was used instead of a numeral 1.Obituary from The Cincinnati (OH) Enquirer, Fri, Sep 6, 1912, page 7 reads:

"Mary A. Crugar, wife of the late Frederick T. Crugar, at Sherman, N.Y., Monday, September 2. Funeral from residence, 4706 Central av., Madisonville, Ohio, Friday at 2 p.m."

However, the New York death index reports the death date of September 3, 1912 in Mina, NY. (The cities of Mina and Sherman are both in Chautauqua County, NY and are about 5.5 miles apart.)

Daughter of Isaac M. Seaman and Emma Leslie. Mother of John Seaman Crugar, Arthur Crugar and Fletcher Barker Crugar.
