Jan was born and raised in Michigan. She moved to Texas in 1980. She worked at Sperry Flight Systems where she met the love of her life. Jan and George were married on March 26th, 1984 in Corpus Christi, TX. Throughout their marriage, Jan often referred to her husband, George, lovingly as her "BF" or "boyfriend." Jan was a stepmother to George's 3 children he had from his first wife. At the time of their marriage, only the youngest one was living in the home. Jan was athletic, adventurous and loved to travel with her husband. She was extremely friendly and never met a stranger. Jan came from a large, loving family where she was 1 of 9 children. She had many nieces & nephews as well as many great-nieces & great-nephews. During her marriage, Jan & George lived in Texas, Arkansas, Florida and Utah...always looking for the next adventure. It was in April of 2020 that Jan was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer. She fought hard and always put on a brave face. She is dearly missed by all of her family and her many friends. May Jan Rest in Heavenly Peace.

"But they that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint." -Isaiah 40:31
