He was my grandfather. I only met him once, though I met my grandmother then and again several times after he passed away. I have been told he was a farmer (my mother's parents owned a farm near his when I was born.) He was also a Judge in Forsythe, Taney Co, MO. He was a preacher at a church he build where his wife played their own piano they hauled to the school/church house where he preached on Sundays. She taught school in the building during the week to the local children. He was well loved and respected by his wife, children and the community.
