Resident of Powder Springs, GA. Son of Horace and Clara McDonald. He married Mary Whitfield in 1956. He worked for the railroad as a locomotive engineer and retired after 38 years of service. He was the Past Master at the Springville Masonic Lodge. He was preceded in death by his wife of 63 years, Mary McDonald; and sister-in-law, Diane McDonald. He is is survived by his sons, Tim (Martha) McDonald of Powder Springs, GA, and Greg McDonald of Dallas, GA; granddaughters, Blair (David) McDonald-Thomas of Marietta, GA, and Summer (Rob) Reinert of Marietta, GA; grandson, Zach McDonald of Powder Springs, GA; great-grandchildren, Luke Reinert and Paige Reinert; and brothers, Wayne(Janice) McDonald of Kennesaw, GA, and Dennis McDonald of Kennesaw, GA.
