She was born in Wayne County on October 26, 1910, the daughter of the former Lula Jane Brown and Jacob Stewart Brown, both deceased.
She married John Abbott and he survives.
Other survivors include one son, Jacob Bressler of Somerset; one brother, William Brown of Somerset, and sis sisters, Dorothy Flynn of Memphis, Tenn., Clora Keller of Greenwood, Wisconsin, Rosa Schultz of Arcadia, Wisconsin, Martha Lawless of Mendota, California, Stella Turner of Monticello, and Lela Alley Morrow of Ohio.
She lived in Pulaski County for about 30 yers, was a housewife and a member of the Emmanuel Baptist Church.
Funeral services were held in the Chapel of the Denney-Murrell-Correll Funeral Home in Somerset, on Thursday, April 6th, with Rev. J. S. New officiating.
Burial was in Wesley's Chapel Cemetery in Pulaski County.
