Her death certificate has a mistake on it. It says her father's name was James. His name wasn't James, it was John.
Files on Ancestry.com, and the 1880 census, show Eugenia's first name as Sarah and middle name Eugenia. Pretty much everywhere else you look it is just Eugenia. I have found an amazing number of people in my research in the early 1900's that went by their middle name like it was a fad or some such thing. That could very well be the case for Eugenia. Eugenia's mother's name was Sarah.
