Elva Lee Wettstead, 76, of Bremerton died of natural causes Thursday in Bremerton.
She was born to Alva and Mary (Teague) Maples in Clever, Mo. She graduated from Clever High School in 1944.
On Jan. 28, 1945, she married Frank Wettstead in Reno, Nev. He preceded her in death in 1996.
Mrs. Wettstead enjoyed quilting.
Survivors include a daughter, Oma L. Darrah of Charlevoix, Mich.; three brothers, Wayne, John and Buford Maples, all of Seattle; two sisters, Maxine Gregory and Wanda Eldridge, both of Seattle; three grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
A graveside service will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at Miller-Woodlawn in Bremerton.
