The following obituary was provided by the Homer Historical Society, taken from The Champaign County Herald, Wednesday, March 28, 1883, Page 5--OGDEN--Mrs. Mary A Robinson died, Monday, March 19th, 1883 after a short illness, lasting a little ofer a week. Her disease was of a bronchal nature allied wkth other complications. Mrs. R. was born in Coles Cpunty, Illinois, June 29th, 1823 and was married to Hiram Robonson November 20th, 1842. Of eleven children but three survive their mother. She was a firm consistent member of the Advent faith, a good neighbpr, a faithful wife, and loving mother. Shortly before her death she expressed a willingness to go and patiently awaited the summons. The afflicted famly have the sympathy of all the community in this their dark hour.
