Obit: Mrs Robert McMichael died at her home on High Prairie Monday morning 25 Sep 1919, aged 76y, 5m and 25 days, after an illness lasting several months. She was born 13 April 1840 and was married to Robert McMichael in 1857. Her maiden name was Ruth Ann Manley. Twelve children were born to the couple of whom 6 besides the husband survive her. Their names are: Eugene, William, Elmer, Jesse, Larkin and Charles. Mrs McMichael was a member of the Free Methodist Church and died in that faith.
Funeral services Tuesday dat Bethel Baptist Church, sermon by Rev A Snowden, pastor Elmo M E Church,South, and burial at Odd Fellows Cemetery west of town.
