Don began his career with Touche, Ross, Bailey & Smart (now Deloitte) accounting firm in Kansas City. He eventually became a partner and was transferred to Omaha in 1977. After retiring he enjoyed a second career at Lozier Corporation.
Don served on the board at American National Bank.
Don met MaryJane Hogeland on a blind date and the two were married in 1959 in Bloomington, NE. They had one daughter and two sons. Don and MaryJane enjoyed traveling and spending time with family more than anything.
Don was a kind, loving, compassionate man who loved his family dearly. He will be missed by many.
