MRS. JACOB CARBIENER
Mrs. Jacob Carbiener, who had been ill most of the time since her late husband's death on Jan. 29, died Wednesday evening at the family home at 203 North Whitlock Street.
Mrs. Carbiener's maiden name was Susannah Link. She was the daughter of John and Hannah (Vollnagle) Link, and was born in Mahoning County, Ohio, June 1, 1851, being almost eighty-three years old. As a girl, she came to this community with her parents. On March 12, 1874, she was united in marriage with Jacob Carbiener, who preceded her in death just a few months ago. They spent their entire married life in this community.
Mrs. Carbiener is survived by two daughters and three sons, Mrs. B. C. Ellis of Bremen, Mrs. Edward Carder of Dowagiac, Mich., Clarence D. and Arethur Carbiener of Bremen and Earl Carbiener of Tippecanoe. She leaves also 3 sisters, Mrs. William Lichtenberger of Culver and Mrs. C. H. Dietrich and Mrs. I. L. D. Seiler of Bremen. There are five grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held Sunday afternoon at 2:00 p.m. at the residence, Rev. H. P. Bloesch of the First Evangelical church officiating. Burial will be in the Bremen
