William James Boone was the son of James Boone and Catherine Latta. Billy, as he was called, was the first child of his parents, to live to adulthood.He was a twin with sister Jane Anne Boon and was joined later with another sister Louisa and brother Andrew. He married Anna Blanche Clanton in Fulton, Fulton County, Kentucky on 17 February 1875. The couple moved to Fresno, CA. early in their marriage and their first 2 children were born there. The family later returned to Graves Co., KY where Billy was a farmer and lived the rest of his life .
