Beulah Mae Costephens (nee Lee), 102, of Belleville, Illinois, was born September 23rd, 1918 in Witt Springs, Arkansas, passed away Tuesday, October 13th, 2020 at St. Paul’s Senior Community.
Beulah was a homemaker in her early years. Throughout her life she was a member of Church of Christ, attending the Church of Christ in Fairview Heights. She was an active member of Fairview Heights Senior Group.

She was preceded in death by her parents, John and Sarah (nee Colyett) Lee and was their last remaining child of 11 siblings. In addition to her parents and siblings she was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Claude Costephens who she married December 7th, 1941 and who passed on April 25th, 1989.

Those left to cherish her memory include daughter, Beverly Wilson and husband Robert of Shiloh, Illinois and son, Jerry Costephens and wife Fay of Wentzville, Missouri, five grandchildren; Kristin Branson (Costephens), Susan Ruder (Ashcraft), Jared Costephens, Stephanie Maranah (Costephens), and Angela Nissen (Wilson). She is further survived by seven great-grandchildren; Daniele, Sydney, Caleb, Evelynn, Amelia, Lyra and Maddox.
