Daughter of Helen Edna and Herbert Dean Anderson. and attended Springfield schools, graduating from Central High School in 1945. She worked at Bell Telephone Company and retired after 37 years of service and was a member of the Pioneer Club. She was preceded in death by her parents. She leaves behind a sister, Helen Orlena Salzman; two nieces, Renee Howard and husband, John, and Nanette Burnett and husband Mike; two nephews, Lawrence "Gene" Lane and wife, Jeanne, and Garon Salzman. Graveside services will be at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, September 26, 2007, in McConnell Cemetery under the care of Herman H. Lohmeyer Funeral Home, 500 E. Walnut.
