Harvey S. Secrist, aged 76, of 246 Maplewood Ave., died of cerebral hemorrhage, after a three day illness.
Mr Secrist was born April 19, 1870, in Perry Township, Pa., a son of Samuel and mary Jane Kennedy Secrist. He came to Struthers in 1916 from Conifer, Pa. and was with the Struthers Furnace Co. He was a member of Struthers Methodist Church.
He leaves his wife, the former Margaret Snell, whom he married 53 years ago; three daughters, Mrs Floyd Wolfgang of Struthers, Mrs John McGlumphy of St. Clairsville, O., and Mrs Anthony D'Orsi of Youngstown; six sons, Boyd of Youngstown, Glenn and Ward of Boston, Ralph of Indianapolis, Homer of Cleveland and Burton of Struthers.
He was buried at Lake Park May 27, 1946.
