Jerry Eugene Maestas, age 64, a longtime resident of Chimayo, passed away on Wednesday, July 13, 2011 at his home.
Jerry was preceded in death by his wife, Prescilla Maestas, father, Benito G. Maestas, brothers, Benny James Maestas and León Maestas, maternal grandparents, José Ramón and Francisquita DeSales Salazar and paternal grandparents, Fedelina and Antonio Archuleta.
Jerry is survived by his son, Benito Maestas, grandson, Ryan Maestas, mother, Sarah and step-father, Manuel Martínez, sister, Geraldine García, brother, Ignacio "Nacho" Maestas, several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and many other relatives and friends.
Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated on Monday, July 18, 2011 at 10:00 a.m. at La Iglesia de Santa Cruz de la Cañada.
