He once walked the sawdust trail to shake hands with Billy Sunday. After graduation he moved to Elgin, Illinois where he worked as president of Elgin Watch CO. He married Helen Rinehimer and had a son Albert and daughter Carolyn G. Radcliffe Stevens was an Elgin community leader. WWI Veteran
