Walter E. "Wally" Bergeron, 63, of Utica, passed away Friday, September 18, 2020 at OSF St. Francis Medical Center in Peoria.

A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date. Seals-Campbell Funeral Home is handling arrangements.

He was born June 2, 1957, to Eugene and Martha Ann (Schuester) Bergeron. On June 23, 2000, he married Jaclyn M. Benedikt, of Stickney, IL who survives.

Wally was employed as a roofer. He made and sold giardiniera at local fairs and events.

He is survived by his wife: Jackie of Ottawa; one son: Cody Jordon Bergeron; two sisters: Ruth Bergeron of Florida and Alberta Bergeron of Chicago; one brother: Eugene Bergeron of Chicago; two half-brothers: Rex (Barbara) Orton of Fox Lake, IL and George Orton of Tennessee; and many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother: Robert Orton.
