Per our research: This Louisa Betschart was the second wife of Louis Betschard and the daughter of William Caldwell of Tennessee and Parlina Maynas of Tennessee.
She stated on the 1910 census that she had been married 4 times and Louis had been married 3 times.
On the 1910 census, Lewis and Louisa lived next door to Frank (Franz) Betschart. Louis and Louisa J. shows one child, a son-- Samuel S. Knox 18 years, but Frank and Louisa next door show 7 children at home and Louisa says she had 13 children with10 still living.
Researchers need to study both families carefully, to not get them comfused.
