Services for Richard Russell Combs, age 69, were held at the White River Association Campgrounds with Rev. Floyd Roberts and Rev. Denzil Turner officiating. Richard was born March 14, 1919, near Bradleyville, Missouri and passed away May 15, 1988, having lived in the Bradleyville area all his life. He was the son of Hohn R. and Ida (Clark) Combs.
He was united in mrriage to Norma Horner. To this union were born five children, two boys and three girls. He is survived by his wife of the home; three boys, Roy Combs of Bradleyville, Lonnie Combs of Ava, Steve Combs of Bradleyville; two daughters, Frieda Boyd of Branson and Donna Herd of Bradleyville; ten grandchildren and two great-grandchildren; five sisters, Rosie Parrill of Forsyth, Slyvia Cupps of Forsyth, Goldie Hamilton of Ontario, Oregon, Dovie Yeary of Ava and Ruby McDaniel of Taneyville.
Richard was preceded in death by his parents, seven brothers and two sisters. Richard was laid to rest in the Patterson Cemetery near Bradleyville, Missouri.
