Services for Art Clark, 75, Taneyville, were held Wednesday in Kissee-Simmons
Chapel in Forsyth with the Rev. Floyd Roberts officiating. Burial was in the Wolf
Cemetery.
Mr. Clark died at 3 p.m. Saturday after apparently suffering a heart attack while
cutting wood.
A lifelong area resident, he was a retired carpenter.
Survivors include his wife Bessie; two sons, Lewis, Taneyville, and Argel, Peculiar;
two stepsons, Russ Scribner, Kissee Mills, Ress Scribner, Cedar Creek; a daughter,
Fredia Kurth, St. Louis; four brothers, Clarence, Protem, Roy, Taneyville, Walter,
Cedar Creek, Junior, Omaha, Neb.; eight grandchildren and six step grandchildren;
and two great grandchildren and two stepgreat-grandchildren.
