Wife of Charles Bullis, Sr. (DAR Patriot).
Mother of Charles II, Germond Sr., Henry Hillard Sr., Isaac, Elizabeth and Katherine
Bullis.

Although numerous contributors list her as the daughter of Jacobus and Cathryna "Catrina" (Bailey\Beely) Ter Bosch, in Sep 2019, conflicting evidence was reported that she was actually the daughter of Johan Hendrick/Heinrich "Henry" Busch (1701-1790/91) and Catherina Schneider (1703?-1759?)**. Information in published research by Lee Terbush, a descendant of Johannes and Lysbeth (Hendricks) Ter Bos, does not list Elizabeth as a daughter of Jacobus.

(** New info received 3/21/22, again from James Downey:
Her mother was Maria Catherine (known as "Catherine") SCHAUER, born 1706, still living at the date of her husband's will in 1780; SNYDER was his first wife.)

Her birth date was originally listed as 16 Mar 1723. Due to uncertainties about her birth date, her memorial was changed from 16 Mar 1727 to simply 1727.

Acknowledgement of more data received 10 Mar 2020:

For proof of her actual identity, see the will of her father, Hendrick Busch (NOT "TER BOSCH") in Dutchess County, New York Wills, Book A, pages 225-227.
It is clear that her age on the gravestone is slightly exaggerated (extremely common at this period, and later), and that she was born sometime in 1727, between her sisters Margaret (22 February 1726) and Christina (18 August 1729); an earlier date simply does not work here.
