Joan Ferguson, 8 year old daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Ray B. Ferguson, residents of Carry Hurst area near the mouth of Provo Canyon, died Sunday at 2:30 p.m. in the family home of a heart ailment.
She was born Oct. 23, 1942, in Orem a daughter of Ray B. and Lois Munson Ferguson. She had attended the Geneva Elementary School in Orem and finished the second grade last spring. She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and active in the primary association.
Survivors include the parents; seven brothers and sisters, Raymond, Wayne, Melvin, Arlene, Janet, Elaine and Marilyn Ferguson, all of Carry Hurst; grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. James Ferguson, Carry Hurst.
Funeral services will be conducted Wednesday at 11:30 p.m. in the Berg Mortuary Chapel by Orville B. Davis, bishop of the Edgemmont LDS Ward. Friends may call at the place of funeral Tuesday from 6 to 8 p.m. and Wednesday prior to services.
