Daughter of Thomas M. & Mary J. Hitchcock Morehouse, married 1st 1879 James Dalaba, after his first wife Laura, sister of Rebecca died, mother of 12 children. Married 2nd in 1909 Andrew Andrus.

BAKERS MILLS - Mrs. Rebecca Andrus, 83, died Thursday evening at her home here. She is survived by her husband, Andrew Andrus; one daughter, Mrs. Alice Morehouse, Bakers Mills; five sons, John, James, Wilbur, Charlie and Mark Dalaba, Bakers Mills; one sister, Mrs. Margaret Bennett; two brothers, Andrew Morehouse, this place, and William Morehouse of Glens Falls; 39 grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services were conducted Sunday afternoon at the Wesleyan Methodist Church, the Rev. S. Harry Miller officated.

Interment was in Bates Cemetery at Johnsburg.
