Dr. Leonard William Buck of Ross, San Francisco pathologist, died from an apparent heart attack shortly before 11 a.m. yesterday in Kentfield.
A motorist passing along Woodland Road saw him lying near his car, which was parked at a dead end street near 463 Woodland Road. He was 61 years old and had been under treatment for heart ailment, according to Coroner Frank Keaton. He might have been out for a walk when stricken, the coroner said.
A native of Vacaville, Dr. Buck came to Marin in 1931 and lived at his Glenwood Avenue home in Ross with his wife , Beryl, who survives him. He was a member of the Marin Masonic Lodge, the Theta Delta Chi fraternity, and the French Club, Bohemian Club, and the Wine and Food Society of San Francisco.
Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Saturday at the Buck home in Ross under the direction of Keaton's Mortuary.
