"Mrs. Mary L. Garman, of Blandburg, died at 9:15 a.m. yesterday at her home. She was born in Blair County, Nov. 2, 1878, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Henry (sic) Lewis, and on Dec. 24, 1897, married George F. Garman, who died in January 1945. Surviving are two sons, William and Charles, at home; two daughters, Mrs. Ruth Colwell of Blandburg and Mrs. Fannie Beck of Bellwood; 10 grandchildren; 29 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren. She was a charter member of the Blandburg Lutheran Church. Friends will be received at the Troxell Funeral Home, Glasgow, after 7 p.m. today."
