LONGBEACH, WA - Woody passed away peacefully in Long Beach, Wash. on September 18, 2007 after a short struggle with cancer.

Woody was born in Cadado County, Oklahoma on November 10, 1916 to George and Sally Miller.

He married Marsaleete (known as "Pat") Rowell on December 3, 1937 in Eakley, Oklahoma. They had sons Perry Gene and Daryl Dean before moving to Yakima, Washington where a third son, Larry Joe, was born.

Woody worked in the Yakima area as a mason and carpenter his whole life.

He was preceded in death by his wife Marsaleete in June of 1990.

He is survived by his sons Perry Gene (wife Aletha) of Long Beach, Daryl Dean (wife June) of Yakima, and Larry Joe (wife LaDean) of Kalispell, Montana.

He also had many grandchildren and great-grandchildren of whom he was very proud, as well as several nieces in Oklahoma and California.

Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society.

A graveside service will be held Tuesday, September 25, 2007 at 11 AM at Terrace Heights Memorial Park with the Reverend James Layne officiating. Those wishing to attend should meet at the cemetery.
