Alford Leroy Kellogg was born at Wyoming, Illinois, January 17th, 1881, and died at Kansas City, Mo., Feb. 14th, 1927, aged 46 years, 1 month and 27 days. He had an attack of cirrhosis of the liver several years ago and has never been well since and for the past year has been declining. On January 4th, he entered the hospital in Kansas City where he remained until death relieved him.
Lee was the youngest of four children born to the late Dennis D. and Mary F. Kellogg. The others, Mrs. Gertrude Castle, Clifton W. and Alta M. Kellogg, all of Chicago survive. The two latter being present at the funeral.
The deceased was a cousin of Mrs. Frank Hamilton at whose residence the funeral was held.
Interment was in the family lot in the Brimfield Cemetery.
