Georgia Ann Harris was the daughter of Lemuel P. Wynn and Sarah Ann Francis Norris. According to her Death Certificate Georgia was born on August 10, 1841, in Walker County, Texas. Her first marriage was on February 4, 1862, to Jeremiah J. Pratt. Jeremiah died on March 13, 1863, while serving in the Confederate Army. On January 28, 1864, Georgia remarried to James W. Cranford. To this marriage was born Lemuel L. Cranford and William Pinkney Cranford. In 1867, James Cranford passed away, and Georgia married Marion Harris in January 1872. Their children were Virginia, Elbert, Minnie Mae, and California. Marion died in 1884. On August 21, 1890, Georgia married her last husband, Louis Norman Porter. In 1899 The Gazette newspaper reported that Louis Porter drowned in the Loutre, and at the time he and Georgia were separated. According to her death certificate Georgia was a member of the Methodist Church and died from heart failure in Laran, Louisiana, on February 19, 1918.*
