Deview Walker Manly, 85, formerly of Waldrop Street, Laurens, SC, went home to be with the Lord on August 21, 2007, at National Health Care of Laurens.

Born in Laurens County, SC, on September 24, 1921, she was the daughter of the late Horace Hugh and Nora Evelyn Stroud Walker and the widow of Rev. William David Manly. She was a homemaker, member of Enoree Church of God and a former member of Living Way Church of God.

Mrs. Manly is survived by a son and daughter-in-law, Michael Hugh and Vickie Manley of Woodruff, SC; a daughter and son-in-law, Carol Manly and Roger Riddle of Greenville, SC; two sisters, Wilma Waldrep of Enoree, SC, and Kathleen Layton of Roebuck, SC; five grandchildren, Korey and Haley Manley, Tony Manly, Kelly Manly Crook, English Riddle Sprinkle, and Erin Riddle; six great-grandchildren, Adrienne Manly, Riley Crook, Molly Crook, Christian Sprinkle, Klay Manley, and Camp Sprinkle; and one great-great-grandson.

She was predeceased in death by a son, David Curtis Manly.
