A native of Louisville, he was the son of the late Arthur P. and Margaret Fix Denzinger.
He was a retired estimator for Henry Vogt Machine Co., where he worked 47 years, a coach for the Buechel Baseball Little League, an Army veteran of World War II and a member of Highland American Legion Post 201.
He was preceded in death by a son, William Denzinger.
Survivors include a son, Phil Denzinger of English; a brother, Arthur K. Denzinger of Mt. Washington, Ky.; a daughter-in-law, Becky Denzinger, who cared for him; seven grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
The funeral was Monday, Aug. 14, at Ratterman Funeral Home in Louisville with burial in Cave Hill Cemetery.
