A sweet and generous soul passed on today due to natural causes.

She will be dearly missed but has hopefully rejoined her husband of 52 years.

Born in Mammoth, Utah to Belle Campbell Moyle and Hyrum Jenkins. Moved to Eureka, Utah and later to Salt Lake City where she attended and graduated from South High School in 1934. Attended post high school classes at East High and LDS Business College. Married Evan L. Christiansen, September 21, 1937. They lived in Washington and California during World War II and after the war settled in Murray, Utah.

Maurine was active in the Medical Auxiliary and was an avid golfer and bowler for which she won many trophies. Member of Willow Creek Country Club for many years. Preceded in death by parents and one brother, son, David Evan (1968), husband, Dr. Evan L., (1989).
Survived by son, Dennis L.; grandchildren, Candice Nicole and JaDee, both of whom she truly loved to spoil; ex-daughter-in-law, Judy, whom she loved like the daughter she never had, two brothers, Paul and Eugene.

Maurine was a beautiful lady who loved to entertain and socialize. She had a great smile and loved to laugh. She was generous to a fault and dearly loved her kids and grandchildren.
At the request of the deceased, her body will be cremated and no formal services will be held. In lieu of flowers we know she would prefer donations to the Arthritis Foundation because she suffered from the disease for many years.
