Affiants W.N. Clifton, J.P.D. Murphy, Jn. Oliver, and witness R.S. Pate tell that William F. Mckleroy died at the home of W.N. Clifton at Wedowee, Ala. on the 1st day of Sept 1893. They saw him about ten minutes before he died and saw him about ten minutes after his death and saw him buried at Wedowee, Alabama on the 2nd day of Sept 1893. They swore that his widow was Nancy Clayton.

They had married 10th day of Nov 1837 in the 11th District of Carroll County, GA

McKleroy at Carrollton, GA. on or about the 1st day of May 1836 as a Private in Capt. Wm. L. Parr''s Company, Georgia Volunteers, the Reg't commanded by Col Wm. Wood in the War of 1836. He was discharged in West Point, Georgia on or about the 1st day of August 1836.
