Born December 26, 1945, in Cincinnati, OH, she was the daughter of the late Roy Cecil and Eslie Riedner Stinson and was preceded in death by her twin sister Iva Faye Stinson and her sister Phyllis McBride. Edna was a devoted member of the Long Ridge Baptist Church and was a homemaker. She enjoyed being "Granny" to her granddaughters. For many years she and her husband enjoyed wintering in Lake Placid, FL for sunshine and fishing.
Edna will be missed by her husband Paul Gibson; her sons, Paul (Vicki) Gibson, Jr.and Scott (Sandy) Gibson; her granddaughters, Michelle (Craig) Barnett, Chelsea Gibson, and Michaela Gibson and her siblings, David Stinson and Linda Bryant.
McDonald & New Funeral Homes are in charge of arrangements. Family will receive friends at the Main Street location on Friday, October 16, 2020, from 11 am to 12:45 pm. Graveside services will be held at 1 pm, in the Owenton Cemetery, with Bro. Mike Parks and Bro. Rex Gibson presiding.
