Funeral of Mother and Child
We mentioned in our Sunday's issue the death of Mrs. Alice Hoofnagle, wife of George Hoofnagle. Scarcely had the life of Mrs. Hoofnagle ebbed away before her child joined her in that world where there is no parting. The funeral of both took place Sunday afternoon from the residence of her husband on Lincoln Street, between Forth and Fifth. The solemn services were conducted by Rev. W. H. Atwill. The remains both were placed in one coffin and interred in Portlock's Cemetery.
