Obituary: Martha Jane Perrin, 84, died at Carveth Nursing Home, Gananoque, on August 12, [1986] after an illness lasting three weeks. She was the widow of Munson (Mont) Perrin and had been a longtime resident of the Jones Falls area, west of Morton. Her husband predeceased her about two years ago, after which she entered the nursing home where she had resided for the past 18 months. The former Martha Jane Ubdegrove, she was born at Jones Falls, a daughter of the late Josiah Ubdegrove and the former Ann Jane Williams. She lived in the area all her life, with her main interests in her home and family. Mrs. Perrin is survived by six children: Mrs. Arnold Rutherford (Florence) of Lyndhurst, George Perrin of Merrickville, Mrs. Andrew Mills (Muriel) of Gananoque, Harold Perrin of Jones Falls, Wilfred Perrin of Brockville, and John Perrin of Oshawa, as well as several grandchildren, great-grand-children and great-great-grand-children; also a brother, Alfred Ubdegrove of Brockville, and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by one son, Leonard Perrin, and by one daughter, Maisie. Friends were received at the Scotland Funeral Home, Elgin, with the funeral service held in the chapel on Friday, August 15, at 3 p.m. Interment followed in Morton Cemetery. The pallbearers were Frank Taylor, Allan Moroughan, William Jardine, Earl McFadden, Leon Burns and Jack Fahey.
