Claudda Etelka McKinney Barrett died peacefully on Saturday, February 14, 2015.

Claudda was born to beloved parents, Claude and Lenora McKinney on Oct. 5, 1933, in Guadalupe County, Tx. She was married to her eternal sweetheart, John Clark Barrett, June 8, 1955 in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. They were blessed with a beautiful posterity of five children: son, Ken Barrett and four daughters, Laura (Darrell) Decker, Billye (Tim) Hitchcock, Ruth (John) Layne, and Christina Hilliard; 17 grandchildren, and 15 great-grandchildren with five additional arriving this year.

Claudda was a devoted Christian and faithful member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She loved and served our Heavenly Father and His Son, Jesus Christ, as best she could throughout her life. She truly was a friend to all.

Claudda was preceded in death by her parents and two brothers, Kuhl McKinney and Rocellus McKinney, and sister, Telva Colleen McKinney.

She leaves behind but only for a time, her husband, children, grandchildren, brother, Richard McKinney; many in-laws, nieces and nephews, and many precious friends.
