Nadine M. “Cha Cha” Alves-Williamson, 59, of Wareham, died Oct. 24, 2019 in Tobey Hospital. She was the wife of Ruben Williamson and the daughter of the late Manuel and Loretta (Lopes) Alves.

She was born in Wareham and lived there all of her life. She graduated from Wareham High School and attended Roxbury Community College.

Mrs. Alves-Williamson worked as an Executive Secretary at the African American Federation in Boston.

Survivors include her husband, Ruben Williamson of Wareham; 4 sons, William White, III of Bronx, NY, Jarrod Alves, Terrell Alves and Dominick Alves all of Wareham; 3 sisters, Gloria Alves of Port St. Lucie, FL, Doreen Pires of Salisbury, MD and Alicia Webster of Providence, RI; 3 brothers, Kelly Webster of Washington, D.C., Derrick Webster and Lance Webster both of Providence, RI; 8 grandchildren, Javonte Dobson, Jazzlyn Holliday, Jayden Alves, Jaxxon Alves, Tadeyn Zaire, Jailece Alves, Janyea Alves and Julius Alves; her-mother-in law, Mattie Smith; 3 sisters-in-law, Deborah Loving, Donna Smith and Andrea Smith; a brother-in-law, Andre Williams.

Visiting hours are from 4 to 8 p.m. on Thursday, October 31, 2019 in the Chapman, Cole & Gleason Funeral Home, 2599 Cranberry Hwy., Wareham.

Her funeral will be held at 9:00 a.m. on Friday, Nov. 1, 2019 from the funeral home, followed by a Funeral Mass at 10:00 a.m. in St. Patrick’s Church, 82 High St., Wareham. Burial will follow in St. Patrick’s Cemetery.
