Mrs. Armeda Bell Heckler, died 1:30 am Wednesday in the hospital and death was caused by meningitis. She was born in Muscoda Wis.,on Jan. 12,1874,daughter of Sidney and Susan Cram.
She married Clarence Hecker April 2,1893 in Macon. They celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary in 1953. She moved to Bethany in 1901 and was a member of the Presbyterian church there.
She leaves her husband,three daughters,Mrs.Vivian Davis, Bethany, Mrs. Jesse Ping,Decatur,Mrs. Elizabeth Edwards, Boiser City,La.,three sons,Ross, Sullivan,Howard, Bethany ,Laurence ,Decatur, two sisters Miss Elizabeth Cram, Mrs. Kathryn Walrath, Minn. a brother Allen, Fla, 24 grandchildren and 43 great grandchildren. One daughter Susie, preceded her in death.
Funeral services will be in Tohill funeral home with burial in Marrowbone cemetery.
