Funeral services for Mrs. Edith V. Bilbrey, 94, of Livingston, were conducted at 10 a.m. Tuesday, February 15, 2000, from the chapel of Speck Funeral Home with Rev. Tom Halliburton officiating. Burial was in Overton County Memorial Gardens with Speck Funeral Home of Livingston in charge of the arrangements.

Mrs. Bilbrey, a retired postmistress with the Timothy Post Office, died Sunday, February 13, 2000, at Livingston Regional Hospital.

Born November 4, 1905, in Clay County, she was the daughter of the late Addis C. and Martha Jane "Mattie" Moore Sullivan. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death be her husband, John Edmond "Edd" Bilbrey.

She was a member of First United Methodist Church in Livingston. She was also a member of the American Legion Auxiliary.

Survivors include three sons, Larry Bilbrey, Manchester, Lansford Bilbrey, and Carmon Bilbrey both of Livingston; three daughters, Bertice Crenshaw, Ft. Worth, TX, Sue Copeland, and Kay Killmon both of Livingston; 14 grandchildren; and 11 great grandchildren.
