Ronald Douglas "Ron" Beshears, 73 years of age, of Somerset, Kentucky, departed this life to be with the Lord on Friday, October 9th, 2020 at the Hospice of Lake Cumberland Jean Waddle Care Center.

Ron was born in Naomi, Kentucky on March 26th, 1947, son of the late Roy L. and Thelma Josephine Walters Beshears. Ron was a proud member of Parkers Mill Road Baptist Church, where he faithfully and proudly served as Deacon. He served his country in the United States Army, and was stationed in Korea for a time, and later went to work for G.T.E. where he retired as a cable splicer and repairman.

Ron loved his Lord, his family, and his Church family. He enjoyed spending time with his wife, Juritha, while out driving around admiring God's creation and "Deer Looking". He loved the outdoors with a passion for hunting and fishing. He loved spending time with his Church family during Church socials and fellowships. His favorite Bible verse was Philippians 4:13 "I can do all things through Christ which strengthens me". THIS IS A TRIBUTE IN MEMORY OF RON,

1 Thessalonians 4. 16-18
(King James Version)

16. For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first:

17. Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord.

18. Wherefore comfort one another with these words.
