Husband of Malinda Ann Mattingly.
Daniel was a farmer, and he also operated a race track in the vicinity of his home. The sports fans of Daniel's day loved to watch the weekend horse races. This practice was frowned on by certain circles. A lasting memorial to Daniel B. Thompson and his wife Malinda Mattingly Thompson, donated by them to St. Charles Church, is a beautiful stained glass window in the rear of the church with a plaque bearing the inscription: "Pray for the family of D.B. & Malinda Thompson."
*Daniel and Malinda are buried in St. Charles Cemetery, St. Mary, KY.
