Gene O. "Mac" McClenahan, 80, of Plainfield and a former resident of Naperville, died Thursday, July 31, 2003, at Manor Care Health Center in Naperville. He was born Nov. 28, 1922, in Sigourney, Iowa.
He is survived by his wife, Sue; two children, Chuck (wife Deb) McClenahan of Winnetka and Ellen (husband Jimi) Viereck of Springhill, Fla.; five grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
A private family service will be held at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to a charity of the donor's choice.
Friedrich-Jones Funeral Home in Naperville handled arrangements.
