Graveside services for John C. Taylor, 75, of Needville, Texas, will be held at 2:00 P.M. Thursday, December 17, 2009, at Greenlawn Memorial Park in Rosenberg. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the graveside in the State Room of Davis-Greenlawn Funeral Home in Rosenberg.

John was born April 20, 1934 in Nashville, Georgia to J.B. and Ellen Taylor. He passed away December 13, 2009 in Needville.

He is preceded in death by his sons, John Taylor, Andy Taylor, and Clyde Taylor; his parents, J.B. and Ellen Taylor; brother, Wiley Taylor; and sisters, Louise Taylor, Elvenia Dover, and Shirley Jean Cleaver.

John is survived by his wife of 49 years, Patricia Ann Padgett Taylor; sons, James Padgett and wife, Vickey, and John Taylor and wife, Sonja; grandchildren, Tabitha, Robin, Anthony, Misty, and Bridget; great-grandchildren, Savannah, Ellie, and Baby Dubose; siblings, Barbara, Cleo, Rodney and Rita; along with other relatives and friends.
