Child of Henry Young & Jessie Gertrude (BRANNON) BARR, who married 1897. The 1910 census reports that Jessie had borne 3 children, none of whom were still living at that time. These would correspond to the three infant-sized ledgers in the family lot that have no inscriptions on them.

Original burial record in the sexton's ledger book shows an infant of H. Y. BARR, born in Moultrie, GA, died aged 9 days of infantile trouble. Buried 01 JAN 1905 in Section C, Lot 828 1/4. Died in Moultrie, GA, where the family resided. The sexton was Jesse Alexander BEARD.

This grave is one of three in this lot marked with plain, infant-sized ledgers that bear no markings. In addition to those three, the parents are buried together in a double-deep adult-sized grave with an inscription, leaving no room in this small, irregularly shaped lot for any other graves

A master list of lot owners at Linwood shows Henry BARR as the owner of record for the fractional lot south of lot owned by Mrs. Nancie GRIGGS. Records of burials in the GRIGGS lot show it to be designated city C-827 so, logically, the Henry BARR lot *should* have been designated city C-827 1/2. But that's now water under the bridge.

Uncle (brother of mother Jessie): Charles Flemming "Flem" BRANNON, son of James C. & Sarah Fannie "Sallie" (STRIBLING) BRANNON, who married 14 JUN 1866 in Harris County, GA. He is residing, as Charlie F. BARR, aged 42 years, in the 1910 household of his sister & brother-in-law, Jessie & Henry Y. BARR, in Militia District 921 (Bozeman's District) of Muscogee County.
