Oma Allen, 76, of South Lebanon died Sunday, July 11 at home.

She was born in Manchester, Ky., the daughter of Kenus and Nannie (Stidham) Baker. She was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother.

She was preceded in death by her parents and husband Herman Allen.

She is survived by sons Theo Grubb of Mason and Millard Allen of South Lebanon; daughters Creighton bishop of Clay County, Ky., Lucy Reeder of Florida, Eileen Shoemaker of Georgia and Brenda Cockerham of Morrow; brothers Elmer Baker of South Lebanon and Rollie, Dan and Wallace Baker, all of Clay County, Ky.; sisters Flora Allen of Clay County, Ky. and Sophia Allen, Thelma Allen, Rosa Lee Wass, Aline Allen and Phyllis Baker all of South Lebanon; 13 grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.

Visitations were held Tuesday, July 13 at Stine-Kilburn Funeral Home, Lebanon and Wednesday, July 14 at Clark's Chapel in Sexton's Creek, Ky. with funeral service following at the church with the Rev. Herman Byrd officiating. burial was at Lower Saddler Cemetery. -Western Star, Lebanon, OH Jul 1999
