Mr. Michael Gooch, 59, passed away Sunday morning, October 4, 2020 at The Compassionate Care Center in Richmond. Michael was born in Richmond, Kentucky on March 2, 1961. He was the son of the late Rev. Frank Jr. and Ethel Marie Gooch. He was a former construction worker and was of the Pentecostal Holiness Faith. Survivors include a daughter: Rachel Gooch; six sisters: Brenda Gail Sparks (Donald), Kathy Miller (Bobby), Rebecca Gooch, Shawnetta Gooch, Lois Sanchez (Tommy) and Priscilla Hoskins (Jim); two brothers: Teddy Gooch (Danielle) and Namon Gooch (Wanda) as well as several aunts, uncles, cousins and nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister: Sheila Miller. Graveside Service 2:00 PM Wednesday, October 7, 2020 at The Gooch Family Cemetery at Dreyfus with Rev. Fabian Lynch and Rev. Adam Arvin officiating. Visitation will be from 6-8 PM Tuesday evening at The Combs, Parsons & Collins Funeral Home. Pallbearers are: Freddie Willis, Travis Coffey, Jordan Coffey, Jonathon Sanchez, Brandon Gooch and Zachary Miller. Honorary Pallbearers are: Shannon Sparks, Shawn Sparks, Lester Gooch, Eugene Miller, Eddie Gooch and Eric Gooch.
