Robert Taylor Abernathy, 86, of Mason, Michigan passed away on October 1, 2020. Robert was born to James Roy and Mamie Gladys (Parrott).
He was a veteran of the United States Marine Corps and retired from General Motors in 1988 following many years of service. Robert was a member of the Holmes Road Church of Christ in Lansing for many years.
Surviving are his daughter, Wendy (David) Guenther; grandchildren, Andrew and Rebecca Guenther, Keri Abernathy. He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, James Ralph Abernathy; sister, Ruth Abernathy; wife, Shirley (Tibbs) Abernathy; son, Jeff Abernathy.
No formal service will be held.
