Bonner and Blanche Roper. Her labor ended on September 27, 2020, at Forest Pines Retirement Center in Columbia, South Carolina.

Antoinette received her early education from Richland County Public Schools, where she graduated from Booker T. Washington High School, Class of 1953. She furthered her education at South Carolina State University, in Orangeburg, obtaining her Bachelor of Art in Music Education in 1958. Antoinette completed her education by obtaining her Master's Degree in Education at the City University of New York. She influenced the lives of thousands of students as a dedicated teacher and administrator in the New York City Public School System, retiring in 1994.

Antoinette met and married the late George Young. Within this union, they added to their joy with the birth of her only and much beloved son Christopher George. In the 1980s, Antoinette's heart was won by the late James "Jim" Greene. They were united in matrimony at St. James Presbyterian Church, where she remained a faithful member until they relocated to Atlanta, Georgia.

Antoinette traveled extensively throughout the United States and abroad. She enjoyed sharing her gift of playing the piano with family, friends, and members of Good Shepherd Presbyterian Church in Atlanta, Georgia. She continued to share her love of education by becoming a Sunday School School Teacher and later, and Ordained Elder.

Antoinette returned to her roots in Columbia, South Carolina, in 2014. She reestablished her membership at Sydney Park CME Church, where she served as a stewardess and pianist for the noonday service.

In addition to her parents and both spouses, she was preceded in death by two brothers: William P. Bonner and Alexander Bonner; and three sisters: Josephine Bonner Oglesby, Blanche Bonner Lewis, and Beatrice Aaron.

Antoinette leaves to cherish her memory her son, Christopher (Yvonne "DeDe") Young; grandson Trinity Young; two brothers: Joel H. (Pearl) Bonner, Jr. and Franklin (Carolyn) Bonner; a sister Louise B.
